Ethiopian Export Day is being celebrated

Addis Ababa; July 23, 2022 (MOTRI) Ethiopia's Export Day, organized with the guiding idea of ​​"Buy Ethiopia's unique flavor products", is being celebrated today with various events at Skylight Hotel.

Ethiopia's export trade products, which are major sources of exports in the agricultural, industrial and mining sectors, are being visited for fairs.

Celebrating Ethiopia's Export Trade Day will promote the export products that Ethiopia is known for, including agriculture, to the world, expand market needs and destinations, increase the income from the sector and help introduce new products to the export trade market, the Minister of Trade and Regional Affairs, Ato Gebresekres Chala, said while launching the fair.

 The minister said that it was possible to achieve more than 4 billion US dollars in the 2014 fiscal year, which had failed to be planned in the last 10 years.

 Ato Gebremres Chala also pointed out that it is planned to increase the recorded export income by 1 billion dollars in the current fiscal year.
