The Ministry of Trade and Regional Cooperation signed an agreement to work together with the Ethiopian Institute of Standards.

Addis Ababa 16/05/2023 (Motri) The Ministry of Trade and Regional Cooperation signed an agreement document with the Ethiopian Standards Institute to implement ISO 9001:2015 Quality management system (QMS) and establish a consistent operating system in the institution.
The agreement is said to include technical assistance to modernize the ministry's operating system, increase customer satisfaction, improve the complaint resolution system and establish a modern record keeping system.
It was pointed out during the agreement that all stakeholders in the sector should work with determination to update the business system and increase customer satisfaction by implementing the operating system in a short period of time.
